Thank you for downloading World of Dexter's Laboratory, Volume 1! Dexter's Laboratory, for those of you who don't already know, is the best cartoon on television today, bar none. It is now in reruns weekdays at 7:30am and 7:30pm EST on Cartoon Network. Dexter and his family are not the only characters featured on the show. His ecosystem is filled with incredibly diverse forms of life -- neighbors, aliens, superheroes, teachers, etc. The goal of the icon sets (and I do mean sets) that I will be releasing in the coming months is to augment the excellent core set Iconfactory has created for Cartoon Network. If you haven't down- loaded them already, be sure to. Just go to www.cartoonnetwork.com and click on "Downloadables." I can already feel your anger due to the lack of the Justice Friends in this release. (Especially since I've already displayed a Major Glory icon on the site.) Fear not! I was, unfortunately, unable to aquire adequate reference for Valhallen, but the situation shall be remeadied soon. Expect the TV Puppet Pals to arrive along with them in Volume 2. Bonk! If you have any requests for specific characters, please feel free to email me at how@madsciencelaboratories.com. I will tally up the results and work on the most requested characters first. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Character/Episode Guide ¥ Agent Honeydew & Monkey appear in the "Dial M for Monkey" cartoons as well as the final episode,"Last But Not Beast." Both are members of an elite force which save the world from a variety of foes. ¥ Action Hank - "911," "Beard to be Feared," "Decode of Honor" Action Hank is a hero in the '70s "blaxploitation" vein. He is the star of films but is also a real person. ¥ Mr. Fuzzims - "Down in the Dumps" Mr. Fuzzims is Dee Dee's teddy bear. Dee Dee goes nuts when he gets thrown away, so Dee Dee and Dexter have to rescue him. ¥ Ms. Wimple - "Dexter Detention" Ms. Wimple is one of Dexter's teachers. She's a little sweet on him, until she catches him cheating in class! ¥ DJ Quack Quack & Mr. Chau - "Unfortunate Cookie" Mr. Chau owns the company which produces a Chineese finger trap that Dexter and Dee Dee get caught in. When he finds out they are "suburban children" he tries to sell them a "D.J. Quack Quack" toy. ¥ Birdie - "Techno Turtle" Dee Dee finds a baby turtle which she mistakingly thinks is a hatching baby bird. After an incident where the turtle is injured, Dexter rebuilds him with bionic technology. ¥ Charlie & South American Goat - "Got Your Goat" Just like we should have all expected from the beginning, it comes to light that Dexter created the chupacabra, which he calls "Charlie." The Goat is Charlie's favorite snack. ¥ Pony Puff Princess - "Decode of Honor," "Dee Dee's Tail" +more The Pony Puffs are a line of toys and apparently also real beings. The leader of the group is the Princess, who also astral projects in one episode. ¥ Koosalagoopagoop - "Koosalagoopagoop," "The Koos Is Loose" The Koosalagoopagoop (call him "Koosie") is Dee Dee's imaginary (?) friend from the land of Koos. He is voiced by Dom Delouise. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The icons in this set are © 1999 How Bowers.
